Apparently, I’m not alone in thinking that the combination of burgers and Los Angeles is a pretty tubular one. No, L.A. Weekly seems to agree with me, which explains why, this August 8, they will be hosting the L.A. Weekly Burgers and Beer Festival. It’ll be at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum from 3 pm until 7 pm, and purports to feature the best burgers in the city, as well as 40 different craft beers. The event will showcase a healthy blend of mainstays and upstarts, including – without limitation – Cassell’s, Plan Check, Pie ‘N Burger, Badmaash, and Grill ‘Em All.

A general admission ticket will get you unlimited food and beer samples, as well as access to some vendor marketplace, which by all indications does not include food or beer, so has been filed away under “Shit I Don’t Care About.”

Anyway. The earlier you buy, the cheaper it is. Obviously, I’ll be hopping in an Uber and making my way to this event. Because of course I am. See you all there.
